Return To Norumbega DVD now available. Click Here for details

One of the most beautiful, and certainly most popular "trolley" parks in New England, Norumbega Park opened in 1897 and closed for good on Labor Day weekend 1963. The Totem Pole ballroom opened in 1930 and closed in February 1964.

This website is dedicated to my fahter, John Carroll, who worked at the Totem Pole Ballroom as a teenager.

This site offers a history page by Norumbega Park historian Bob Pollock, a photos section where visitors are encouraged to upload any photos they have of the park, a stories forum where visitors once again can participate by entering any stories they may have of the park.

Recently added in the spring of 2008 is a great DVD Return To Norumbega produced by Remember Productions. Bob Pollock and Joe Hunter have created a wonderful 50 minute DVD that is sure to bring back memories.
